Hapy 4th of July
We spent the 4th of July weekend at a parade in downtown Granbury where there were 100 entries!!! Can you believe the little town of Granbury having such a big parade!
That evening Grammy and Papa came out to spend the afternoon with us and go watch the neighborhood parade. The boys decided to stay home so just us 4 girls went. There was TONS of candy thrown the girls way, then the adults who were thrown candy just brought all of their candy to the girls.
On our drive home McKenna was the "clean-up crew" and walked beside the golf cart picking up candy that was dropped from the parade or not collected.
The older people that were sitting in their drive-ways got a kick out of watching this little 4 year old girl going down the street picking up candy, a couple even brought her over MORE candy that was thrown at them and some 4th of July necklaces. Mom and I didn't get to watch the parade at all, as we were helping the girls pick up all the candy thrown at them. So, needless to say the girls were very happy with their loot and had a great weekend. Today is the actual 4th and we will be heading over to a friends house for a bbq and fireworks, I'm sure we will have a great time.
