Labor Day Weekend

We had a great first Labor Day with McKenna and got a ton of stuff done over the long break, like painting the same wall 3 times. First we got a DUMB idea to paint an accent wall a shade of red:
Then we had to primer it because as you can see it was a bad idea:

And then we painted it a "metallicy" brown that this picture does not do justice, but we are MUCH happier. Aaron is also happy b/c he doesn't have to paint anymore! (that wall at least)


Other than painting, as you might know it was the first football game of the year. So, Aaron and Kyle brewed 2 batches of beer (that took almost 7 hours) and listened to the game on the web. McKenna and I played and after she went down I watched Flip this House. That was pretty much our entire weekend! It doesn't seem like we did much, but it felt like we were busy all weekend long going back and forth from Lowes for more/different paint, going to the beer store, grocery store, etc. We posted a couple pics of McKenna from the weekend on the right.
