2011 started off with a bang! Kara turned 1 year old!!! We can't believe how quickly her first year went, we were a little sad and happy all at the same time. She has grown so much and has turned into quite the little character. She loves to laugh at herself, you, Junebug, anything she deems funny. She has just begun learning that she can walk and gets very excited when she is walking. She listens to 2 part commands very well, loves to give hugs, smell flowers in her book, LOVES to read more then anything else, and loves to take McKenna's giraffe away from her! She is allergic to sleep and wants to play with McKenna (hence why we don't like to sleep) every chance McKenna will let her. McKenna does a pretty good job of playing with Kara until her giraffe is taken or something she has deemed special that day.
We threw her a very small laid back birthday party at the house with pizza and whoopie pies. Kara had fun watching McKenna, Gavin and Hannah run around with each other and then she got whoopie pie ontop of that, so I say she had a pretty good time!
Hope everyone is having as good of a 2011 start as we are.
