Where has the time gone?

We have been so busy with company that it has been a long time since we have had time to upload pictures and write about what all has been going on.
My mom came into town for a couple days and we had a great time. We got to show her the Farmers Market, take her to eat at Five Guys, play with McKenna, and just get some really good time to spend with her. Well then, mom left and Aaron's mom, dad, our nephew, uncle and cousin came into town later that evening. We have had a great time showing them the Farmers Market, eating at Five Guys, (are yall noticing we really like both of these places?) visiting Duke and UNC, and just getting some good time with them as well.
We had a great 4th even though our fireworks show got rained out. We started our day going to a little parade and carnival like event and then headed home to cook some steaks and chicken. We then packed everyone in the cars and headed to see fireworks. We got everyone out and settled and it started storming, so we quickly headed back to the cars. We drove home and found it wasn't raining on our end of town and that the country club behind our neighborhood was doing fireworks, so we could sit in our backyard and watch them. So, Aaron and his dad fired up the grill and we all made smores and watched fireworks. All in all it was a great 1st 4th for us.
We are looking forward to NY next week and will have tons more photos and stories to share. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! Sorry for all the photos, but they have been piling up for a while. All the pictures are from the lake, 4th, farmers market, and our first date!
Aaron and I got to go out on a date for the 1st time in 9 months! We had a great time!
