Well McKenna has already started to disobey almost everything we say. We say no ma'am and she looks at us and does it anyway. We pick her up and move her away from whatever she is not supposed to be in (which is almost everything) and she looks at us and goes right back to it. We tell her to stop doing something and to come here, she squeals and crawls away as quickly as she can. It really is kind of cute, but oh my gosh she is only 8 months old and already disobeying! I think we are going to have our hands full when she gets older.
We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend filled with lots of relaxing, spending family time together and best of all NO PROJECTS. We made a deal to each other that we were not going to work on any projects for the entire weekend, and we didn't! On Friday we went to meet my Aunt Sharon (for only the 2nd time in my life) and the rest of her family, it was a lot of fun and interesting to talk with her. On Saturday, we hung out all day, went to the grocery store, fixed some dinner and watched TV all night. Sunday we woke up, had breakfast, went to church, had some lunch, hung out, had dinner and then headed to bed. It sounds lame, but we really enjoyed not having anything to do for a couple days straight. We weren't committed to going anywhere, doing anything, etc.
McKenna and I are headed to Virginia on Sunday to visit some of my cousins and meet my new 2nd cousin who is 2 months younger than Mckenna. I will have lots of pictures I am sure to post when we get back.
