So many events to catch up on!

In true form I have pictures and events that are a couple weeks old to post on, so here it goes.
To start, Krispy Kreme Run: The challenge is to run 2 miles to Krispy Kreme, eat 12 donuts, run 2 miles back, all without throwing up and finish in under 1 hr. It was very, very crowded (5200 people), but Aaron managed to tough it out and complete the challenge.
I ate 4 donuts and then finished and then ate 1 more, maybe next year!

The Park and Baking: McKenna has decided that the park is one of her favorite places and the slide is her most favorite thing to do. We spent a solid 30 minutes going up and down the slide at the park one Sunday afternoon. She had so much fun going up and down. Once the weather warms up we are going to start adding it into our weekly outing schedule. It wears her out and gets her to take a good long nap, yay for me!!!

McKenna has also decided that she loves to bake and cook. We have started to let her put in certain ingredients when we cook. Her favorite things to add are blueberries. If she can manage to not eat all of them, and I mean that literally, she loves to put them into muffins and pancakes. Really likes to dunk them into the batter, so we have to hold her up a little higher than needed so she is forced to drop them in, but she likes it none the less.

TX trip for Valentines day: We were in Fort Worth over Valentines day for a friends wedding in Dallas, so McKenna got to see grandma (ma) and grandpa (gapa), her words for them, and got to spend the night away from mom and dad on Valentines day. Aaron and I took off to Dallas for the wedding and stayed the night with some friends over there and had a great time, no pictures but we had a great time! We also had a lot of fun in Fort Worth as well. We didn't do anything grand, but it was really nice to just get to visit and go with the flow of "The LaPointe Shuffle" as grandpa likes to call it.

We are making another trip down to TX in April to see nana and grandpa and for a wedding shower, so we are looking forward to that trip as well. Is anyone noticing a trend of going back to TX often? I think we should move back and just let Aaron commute back and forth, anyone else think so too?
