Happy Easter

Our first Easter was wonderful! We went to Ashburn, Va to visit Patti and her family, for those of you who don't know she is my cousin. We had an excellent time hunting Easter eggs on Saturday morning in the neighborhood and then we got to hunt the eggs that the Easter Bunny left her in the yard Easter morning. The Easter Bunny also left her a basket with a bunny rabbit, some candy and rubber duck. She loves her rubber duck and bunny and mommy and daddy love the candy! We had a great time spending Easter together as a family for the first time and spending it with extended family as well. Pictures are to the right, so take a look.

McKenna is sitting up on her own all the time now and she loves it. She has been trying to sit up for a while, but has just recently started to sit and stay sitting up. She gets excited every once in a while though when she sees a toy she wants or she sees mommy, daddy or Junebug and then topples over, but then gets right back up and sits again on her own.

Work has slowed down a little bit for Aaron, so we are able to get back into the routine of running and walking after work and spending time together before we go to bed. We are really enjoying the sunny weather that has shown up lately and is supposed to be coming on a regular basis from here on out. We hope everyone had a great Easter break and is enjoying the Spring weather.
